The cottage is located within a short drive of the popular Devon holiday destinations of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton, meaning beach lovers have plenty of choice – you can visit a different sandy beach every day! Countryside and coastal walks can be enjoyed right from your doorstep, or why not visit one of the area’s family friendly attractions including Exmoor National Park, Exmoor Zoo, the Cliff Railway at Lynton and Lynmouth, or Coombe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
A detached and spacious barn conversion, the cottage offers a large open plan hall, lounge and kitchen area – well stocked with all the necessarily facilities and dining space for six people. Direct access leads to the swimming pool area, and there are stunning views across the valley. There are three bedrooms in total – one super king, one king, and a twin.
Outside, the cottage benefits from a large garden with extensive lawn and outdoor seating.
For an idea of prices, a week in the cottage during summer holiday peak periods costs approximately £3700 – but remember, it’s a big property, so a family of two adults and two children would have space to bring the grandparents along too!
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
The cottage benefits from its very own private outdoor heated swimming pool (available from Whitsun week to the middle of September). A lot of the holidays on Parent Friendly Stays come with a pool, and it’s one of our favourite family friendly amenities, but it’s not often we come across a property with its own private pool for your sole and exclusive use. What a treat – our kids would be in there several times a day!
There’s also an excellent tennis court and an astroturf football pitch, which mean the kids will be occupied whatever their favourite outdoor hobby.
The nearest beach is just a mile away, making the cottage the perfect place for a summer holiday getaway (or indeed for bracing seaside walks at any time of year).
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
There are three village pubs and a shop within walking distance, meaning dinner times are a breeze – or it’s easy to pop out for lunch or dinner if you’d prefer.
Baby and toddler equipment including travel cot and high chair are available.
WiFi is provided, and one dog is permitted to stay in the cottage (for a small additional fee).
IN SUMMARY…
This might not be the cheapest holiday on Parent Friendly Stays, but then again, we don’t feature many holidays with their own private swimming pool – especially with views like these! An incredible luxury getaway.
