Here at Parent Friendly Stays we’re convinced that when you’re planning a family holiday there’s nothing more useful than a genuine recommendation from another parent. That’s why we’re so focused on identifying, reviewing and sharing our selection of impressive family friendly holidays.
But we’re also keen to tap into the knowledge and experience of other mums and dads too, so we recently invited a select grouping of enthusiastic, creative and well connected parent bloggers to join our 2015 #parentpanel.
Introducing our 2015 #parentpanel
You can read all about our 2015 #parentpanel members on our blogger profiles page.
How does it work?
Every so often we share the details of one of our fantastic family friendly holidays with our #parentpanel members and ask them to blog about it – giving us their honest, unique take on the chosen venue and why they’d like to visit with their family. It’s a great way of finding out what other parents think about our family friendly holidays.
In return, one of the bloggers wins a free stay at the holiday in question! Simple, eh? Read more on our #parentpanel rules page.
Our #parentpanel competitions
#parentpanel 1: Treworgey Cottages
The fabulous Treworgey Cottages in Cornwall was the first family friendly holiday up for grabs by our #parentpanel members.
On offer was a three night break for up to five people in one of Treworgey’s beautiful cottages including linen, use of all the facilities and a welcome tea tray with local biscuits and apply juice – and there was even a free pony ride thrown in too!

#parentpanel 2: The Isles of Glencoe Hotel
Our second #parentpanel featured a fantastic family friendly holiday destination in what is surely some of the UK’s most scenic and dramatic countryside!
The owners of the Isles of Glencoe Hotel in the Scottish Highlands offered a generous prize for our #parentpanel to compete for, including a two night stay in a family room, breakfast, a free outdoor adventure activity of their choice – and a bottle of wine to round off the day!

#parentpanel 3: The Valley, Cornwall
Our third #parentpanel competition takes us back to the beautiful (and sunny!) south west of England.
The Valley in Cornwall kindly offered our bloggers the chance to win a 3 or 4 night stay in one of their cottages – with full use of the wide range of family friendly facilities on site of course!

Get your holiday featured!
The Parent Friendly Stays #parentpanel offers cottage, farm stay, hotel and B&B owners a unique opportunity to promote your family friendly holidays to a substantial targeted audience.
All you need to do is provide us with a prize to offer our #parentpanel members. It doesn’t need to be a week long holiday in the height of the summer (though we’re pretty sure our panel would be interested in that!): you can offer whatever length of stay you’d like, in whatever accommodation you have available. In return, our bloggers will write about your holidays as part of their #parentpanel entry, offering you the following benefits:
- Advertise your holidays in a natural and engaging fashion to a highly targeted combined blog audience of some 50,000 UK parents;
- Benefit from increased promotion of your holidays on the Parent Friendly Stays website and social media channels;
- Leverage the power of social media through access to our bloggers’ 40,000+ Twitter followers (not to mention Facebook, Instagram and more);
- Make the most of spare capacity during quieter periods (e.g. school term times) by choosing a prize to suit you;
- Gain longer term SEO benefits as a result of blog linkbacks to your site;
- Minimal effort on your part – the Parent Friendly Stays team will do all the leg work!
