The cottages are located near the market town of Liskeard and the beaches of Cornwall’s south coast. Also within easy reach are Bodmin Moor, popular villages like Looe and Polperro, and family friendly attractions like the Eden Project, the Adrenaline Quarry, Kart World and the Monkey Sanctuary.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
There are four traditional cottages here, three of which are tasteful barn conversions. The cottages are cosy and character-filled with original wooden beams, soft furnishings and log fires.
The cottages vary in size, with the smallest – Middle Barn – sleeping 4, two cottage sleeping six, and the largest – Coach House – sleeping 8. All the properties have their own enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ.
For an idea of prices, a family of four staying in Middle Barn during the summer peak should expect to pay from around £1400/week. We think that’s pretty good value for a Cornish holiday with excellent facilities on site. Eight bed Coach House – big enough for two families to share, or the grandparents to come along too – costs £2650/week in the summer, which again we think offers excellent value for money!
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
The cottages are set within a safe 110 acre estate, perfect for exploring the fields, woodland and streams with your little ones in the summer sunshine or wearing the winter wellies.
There are some excellent on-site facilities to entertain children of all ages. Top of our list is the heated outdoor salt water swimming pool, but there’s also a tennis court, boules court and indoor games room with pool, table football and darts – perfect entertainment on those wetter days. Coach House also benefits from a private billiard table.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
As soon as you arrive, mum and dad will be delighted to find a homemade cream tea awaiting your arrival, along with a bottle of the estate’s own apple juice.
The holiday is dog friendly (a small extra weekly fee applies) and the owners’ two friendly Jack Russells live on site. The log burners in each property ensure a cosy and comfortable stay at any time of year. There’s WiFi available throughout.
IN SUMMARY…
What stands out to us most about these cottages are the competitive prices; a week’s stay for four in the summer peak for less than £1500 is, in our view, a bargain! Especially with some lovely family friendly activities on your doorstep too.
