Our review of this holiday
ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
There are two cottages here: Welsh Cob and Clydesdale Cottage, both of which sleep four people in two bedrooms. The properties have been converted from former barns – they sit within a working farm – and offer luxurious, comfortable, immaculately presented family friendly accommodation. There are stylish living areas, French doors onto the garden which has paved areas with your own private hot tub, and spacious bedrooms.
For an idea of prices, the cottages cost around £1540/week for a family of four during the summer peak; short breaks are also possible out of season.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
There’s plenty of safe, open space for your children to enjoy in the gardens – all with attractive views onto the neighbouring countryside.
Children of all ages will enjoy making use of the large covered swimming pool, especially on rainy days when you need an indoor activity to keep everyone occupied and let off steam. Note that the pool isn’t heated, but in our experience that doesn’t put most children off!
There’s also a fantastic shared all-weather tennis court, perfect for a family game or for budding young Andy Murrays to get some practice in.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Like all the holidays here on Parent Friendly Stays, we think you’ll really love the on-site facilities here – namely the pool and tennis courts; ideal for entertaining your little ones without needing to pile everyone into the car every day. If you do, though, then the picturesque delights of Aberaeron and New Quay are close by, along with the university town of Lampeter.
There’s a pleasant village pub within walking distance, ideal for a relaxing evening drink or for dinner when you don’t fancy cooking. And the private hot tubs with countryside views are perfect for relaxing under the stars with a glass of fizz at the end of a busy day.
WiFi is available, but pets are not permitted.
IN SUMMARY…
With luxurious accommodation, some excellent on-site facilities and all the child friendly attractions of west Wales nearby, we think these cottages offer a great (and well-priced) holiday option.
