ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES

There are two self-catering properties to choose from here, both of which are large enough to accommodate larger families or extended gatherings of friends or relatives.

Churn House, sleeping eight, is an 18^th century converted barn, full of character and charm with its exposed walls and beams. There’s a farmhouse-style kitchen, a cosy sitting room with electric fire, and four bedrooms – two double, and two super-king (or twin on request). The property also benefits from a private patio with furniture, and a shared courtyard with bbq.

Larger Manor Farm Barn, also a tastefully converted barn with exposed beams and brickwork, sleeps 15 people in 8 bedrooms, and benefits from a large farmhouse kitchen with underfloor heating, a well-appointed sitting room and several comfortable outdoor areas.

For an idea of prices, a summer stay for a week will cost around £6600 at Manor Farm Barn, or £2840 at Churn House.  We think that’s pretty competitive when you take into account the number of people who’ll be enjoying a holiday!

PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES

The cottages are set on the edge of a 500-acre dairy and arable farm, offering a scenic countryside getaway with plenty of safe open space for the little ones and all the sights and sounds of the countryside.  Bridle paths lead straight from the farm providing picturesque walks on your doorstep.

Travel cots and high chairs are available to borrow for those travelling with younger tots.

There are several country inns nearby and there’s a local village pub just a short stroll away, perfect for evenings when you don’t fancy cooking or for an afternoon pint in the sunshine.

For cosy evenings inside, both cottages benefit from a lovely open fire in the sitting room.

Pets are welcome to stay at both properties and WiFi is available.
