We love how Billingsmoor Farm is located between shore and sea. Exmouth beach is just 30 minutes away from the farm, if you feel like enjoying water sports, cafes, and shops along the seafront. Just twenty minutes away, among stunning hills and valleys, Knightshayes Court is waiting to be discovered by you. This spectacular Victorian country house benefits from a stunning garden and parkland, which we cannot recommend highly enough. For foodies who want to experience true Devon cuisine, within a 9 minute cycle you can find the Butterleigh Inn which serves mouthwatering English staples, such as a renowned steak and ale pie and home cooked honey roast gammon. A twenty minute cycle through majestic, ancient woods will lead you to an eighteenth-century Georgian (still working!) water mill that also has a bistro with delicious, traditional English dishes.

At Billingsmoor Farm, you will stay in Feather Down’s unique canvas hideaways, where you will be right in the middle of a flourishing meadow. Rare panoramic views of rolling landscapes surround you: yes, this is a slice of heaven, and it is all yours. Luckily, going back to basics doesn’t mean abandoning beloved amenities: you will be spoiled for space. You and your loved ones will have a fully equipped country style kitchen at your disposal, three feathery beds, and at the beginning or end of the day, you can enjoy a cleansing wash in your private shower room.
The flexible rates for a stay at Billingsmoor Farm range from £1450/week, or £775 for four nights (Mon-Fri). Guests can take advantage of lower prices during less busy times. For instance, it would cost you just £450 for a long weekend in June or October.

At Billingsmoor Farm, the hosts’ priority is to make your life easier while making sure that you get the best view of life in the countryside.
Though the canvas hideaways’ kitchens come fully equipped and you can get the best organic ingredients from the honesty shop, we won’t blame you if you don’t want to roll up your sleeves. You can instead indulge in your host Jayne’s hearty home cooking or enjoy a DIY pizza that is cooked in the rustic brick pizza oven.
Once you have indulged in the food, the countryside, horse-riding lessons at the nearby riding stables, and potential sailing adventures, why not plunge yourself into one of the hot tubs that are available for hire? We can’t imagine a better way to close a flawless day than this.
Baby and toddler equipment like cots and highchairs are available, so feel free to ask for them! Family pets are welcome in Billingsmoor Farm for a small additional fee.
