ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES

Accommodation at Campsie Glen takes the form of spacious lodges with hot tubs; caravans – also including some with hot tubs – and glamping pods.  There are lodges with hot tubs sleeping four (in two bedrooms) or three (in six bedrooms), both of which are pet friendly; the lodges offer contemporary living accommodation with comfortable bedrooms, enclosed patios, double glazing and heating.  Caravans have similar size options.

Or for something a bit different, consider Campsie Glen’s cosy glamping pods – which come with microwave, kettle, mini-fridge and toaster, and can accommodate up to six people (maximum four adults).  You’ll need to bring your own bedding unless you’ve remembered to book a bedding pack in advance!

For an idea of prices, a week’s holiday for a family of four during the summer peak season at Campsie Glen costs  from £535 in a glamping pod; from £720 in a caravan; from £975 for a caravan with hot tub; or from £1200 for a lodge with hot tub.

PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES

Dinner times are a breeze with the on-site bar and bistro – perfect for light lunches, hearty dinners or family friendly snacks.  Takeaways can also be purchased.  Note there’s no shop on site, and the location is quite remote, so you’ll want to collect any important shopping on the way!

Fishing fans will enjoy making use of the onsite trout fishing facilities.

There’s Saturday night entertainment from April to October.

There’s an electric vehicle charger on site, and pets are permitted – there’s even a dog walk on site.  Wifi is available in the bar area, and also in some holiday properties – though note this is unlikely to be strong enough to support streaming services.
