The cottages are located on a family farm set in the north Cornwall countryside. The popular and beautiful seaside town of Bude with its three stunning beaches is within easy driving distance, as are Bodmin Moor, the Tamar Valley and Dartmoor National Park. Other family friendly attractions accessible from the cottages include the famous Eden Project and several National Trust properties.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
There are four cottages to choose from: Swallow Barn and Saffron Cottage, both sleeping four people in two bedrooms, and Kingfisher and Old Apple Tallet, which sleep five in two bedrooms.
The well-equipped properties offer an attractive blend of charming original features, like exposed rustic beams, combined with modern contemporary comforts. Well equipped kitchens have all the amenities you’ll need during your stay, while the living areas offer a cosy space to relax in the evening. All the cottages benefit from outdoor space including patio terrace with comfortable dining areas.
For an idea of prices, a week-long stay in August – the school summer holiday peak – costs around £1260 in both the four and five bed cottages. We think that’s great value given the location and facilities on offer here!
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
There are some brilliant child friendly facilities here for kids of all ages to enjoy.
Always high on our list of priorities, especially in the summer holidays, is a swimming pool – and here you’ll find a wonderful outdoor pool available between May and September. What a treat to enjoy each day!
There’s also an outdoor play area with swings, slide and giant sand pit; and indoors a spacious shared games room with pool, table tennis and table football.
Picturesque countryside strolls can be enjoyed directly from your door – great for wearing out the kids before bedtime! The 200 acres of farmland and two miles of riverside walks mean there’s plenty to explore during your stay. And enjoy bird watching from the riverbank hide.
Set on a working farm, there’s always seasonal farm activity for children to watch or animals to meet, and guests are welcome to a farm tour; animal feeding, including lambs and calves, is also often a possibility at the right time of year.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Enjoy family al fresco dinners at the shared pizza oven, or cook marshmallows with the kids over the fire pit as the sun sets.
Baby and toddler essentials, like travel cots and high chairs, can be borrowed on request – saving valuable packing space in the car. Towels can also be hired. Any cottages with stairs have fitted stair gates both top and bottom, and baby cutlery and tableware is provided in all properties.
Pets are permitted to stay in the cottages at off-peak times. Wifi is provided.
