The cottages are located in the scenic countryside near Skirrid Mountain in the Monmouthshire countryside. The popular market town of Abergavenny is just three miles away and offers a range of pubs, restaurants, shops, cafes and a weekly farmers’ market. Family friendly attractions include the castles at Abergavenny, Crickhowell and Raglan, or why not book a boat trip on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal?

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
The cottages here take the form of rustic barn conversions, sympathetically converted into comfortably furnished holiday cottage accommodation with a superb blend of original features and modern-day comforts.
There are four cottages to choose from: Granary, sleeping six people in three bedrooms; Stable, sleeping five in two bedrooms; and Dairy and Cowshed, both sleeping four in two bedrooms.
Each property benefits from a private enclosed garden or shared outdoor space with a charcoal BBQ and outdoor furniture.
Prices are reasonable for a holiday with the kind of facilities available here: a week long stay during the summer holiday peak costs around £1400 in the largest six person cottage, while a smaller four bed property can be yours for just £1200. Breaks are much cheaper at less popular times of year, too.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Children will enjoy the setting of these cottages on a working farm, with all the animals, smells and noises which come with that! Eggs can be collected from the free range hens, or meet the other farm animals as they explore the grounds.
There’s plenty to keep youngsters entertained, starting with a lovely shared indoor swimming pool – open from two weeks before Easter until after the October half term. The swimming pool also has a hot tub adjacent, and both facilities can be booked so your family can enjoy the space in privacy (and make as much noise as you’d like!).
There’s also an outdoor children’s play area for letting off steam when the sun’s shining, and equally usefully, an indoor games room with pool table and table tennis. Something for everyone!
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Each cottage benefits from a wood burner in the living room, with the first basket of logs provided; the ideal setting for a cosy evening in with the family once the night draws in.
Pets are permitted for a small additional fee.
There’s a helpful shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and baby and toddler equipment like travel cots and highchairs can be borrowed on request.

These cosy cottages provide the perfect base for exploring this attractive part of Wales, and the facilities on site – swimming pool, hot tub, games room – mean you’ll never be short of something to do. We also think the prices here are really reasonable, especially at peak times.
