The cottage is located in the countryside of south Devon, approximately nine miles from the popular seaside destination of Sidmouth with its sandy beaches, coastal walks, shops and restaurants and donkey sanctuary. Family friendly attractions including Paignton Zoo and Crealy Adventure Park are also within easy driving distance.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
Situated in a peaceful rural location, the grade II listed cottage has been sympathetically restored and offers comfortable, spacious accommodation for families. There’s a large lounge with wood burner, a well-equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms: a large family room with king-sized bed, single bed and cot; a second king-size bedroom, and a twin.
Outside, there’s an enclosed garden with spacious lawns – ideal for younger tots to explore in safety. Seating and a BBQ are also provided.
For an idea of prices, a seven night stay during peak summer holiday season costs around £3000; but prices fall significantly during less busy periods.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
The facilities on-site make this cottage great for entertaining children of all ages, even if the weather isn’t being kind to your holiday plans! The indoor heated swimming pool (open Easter to the end of October) is a wonderful place for a splash and to let off steam (it’s not massive so probably better suited to playing games than swimming lengths!), and the games rooms with pool table, table tennis, wendy house and a range of other toys mean everyone from toddlers through to teenagers are well catered for.
Of course, there’s also plenty of safe outdoor space for playing football, cricket and other wholesome games!
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
The cottage is situated within easy walking distance of village amenities including a village shop and welcoming local pub – perfect for an afternoon drink in the sunshine or easy family dinners when you don’t fancy cooking.
The wood burner in the lounge makes this cottage a cosy, welcoming holiday home during the chillier winter period. And the sauna is a relaxing place for worn-out mums and dads to relax too.
WiFi is included and up to two dogs are permitted for a small additional charge.
