This cottage is located in Polruan, Cornwall, overlooking the river Fowey. Within easy reach is the passenger ferry to Fowey, or venture further afield to the Eden Project or the many fishing villages on the south Cornish coast.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
The property is a detached, reverse-level house with commanding views across the river. On the lower ground floor is an impressive open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner, with full height windows capturing the garden and river views.
There are five bedrooms in total: one king size, three doubles and one twin (which can also be arranged as a superking). All offer en-suite facilities.
For an idea of prices, the property costs around £5980 for a week during the summer peak; not the cheapest you’ll find, but remember it’s a luxurious property and one which is easily big enough to accommodate two or three families sharing, or an extended family gathering. An out of season stay can be yours for as little as £2800/week.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Children will enjoy the location of this property so close to the Cornish seaside and all the fun that offers. The patio and enclosed garden are ideal for children to let off steam in glorious surroundings, while if your kids are anything like the Parent Friendly Stays clan then they’ll be making good use of the hot tub for a splash!
Separate from the main living room, there’s also a fantastic cinema room on the basement ground floor with 65” smart TV, surround sound system and bean bags to laze on while taking in a movie; ideal for kids of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
There’s plenty to make this destination a relaxing one for mums and dads. Located near the quay and conveniently placed for the local pubs and restaurants, there are plenty of options for avoiding the stress of dinner time cooking for the kids, and plenty of places to pop out for a drink or bite to eat. Or, enjoy the gas BBQ in the garden on a warm summer’s evening.
There’s a tempting sauna in the property for relaxation purposes, not to mention a hot tub making the most of those wonderful river views – what better place to unwind with a cold drink at the end of a busy day?
WiFi is included, dogs are also welcome, and baby and toddler equipment like travel cots and highchairs are available if you need them.
IN SUMMARY…
This incredible property can easily accommodate a large extended family group or two families sharing, and the beautiful setting needs to be seen to be believed. Not cheap, but well worth your consideration for a luxury beak on Cornwall’s south coast.
