For bird lovers, there is the Hawk Conservancy Trust. Wild swimming or paddling in Frensham are also excellent options, if you are feeling particularly active. Our review of Manor Farm
ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
The backdrop of your canvas hideaway is pretty as a picture: if you are visiting Manor Farm in June to August, then blooming lavender fields will welcome you. Golden fields of wheat and barley are a sight for sore eyes, and all this available to you the moment you open your eyes for the day.
Your family friendly canvas hideaway is all the things that glamping stands for: it provides comfort, warmth, and natural luxury. Spacious as it is, it can host up to six people, while a private hot shower is an undoubtable asset. The rustic kitchen is fully-equipped and has a welcoming homely feel. Feathery, premium mattresses with fluffy warm duvets will send you off to sleep in no time!
You can enjoy Manor Farm both during peak season (summer months) and off-peak season. A 4-night stay (Monday-Friday) in August could cost you £750 and £1400 for the week. A long weekend in September would be around £450 while a 7-night stay would cost just £1050.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Manor Farm is a place of imagination, creativity, and fun. After all, nothing can compare to the sheer joy of children playing in nature. On the farm grounds, your little ones can let off steam in the outdoor playground and discover a world of fun and adventure. They will be surrounded by friendly sheep, lambs, and cows and on the farm tour, they can also hand feed their new friends. The best bit? We have it on good authority that beloved Thomas the Tank Engine is a frequent visitor to the Watercress Line, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled!
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
While your kiddos are enjoying nature, mums and dads can kick their feet up and relax. Unlike camping when you have to think through every little detail, at Manor Farm every little detail is thought out for you. You won’t have to worry about stocking up on goods prior to your visit, since the on-site honestly shop has everything you could need. Why not grab some ingredients for a DIY pizza that you can bake in the big brick oven? How about crackers, marshmallows and chocolate to make the perfect s’mores? Finally, we can’t think of a better way to wrap up a day filled with adventure and wonder than a good soak in the hot tub with a view of twinkling stars.
For a small fee, you can bring your pets along when you stay at Manor Farm.
We recommend that you inform the farm ahead of time if you require cots or highchairs for your babies and toddlers.
