ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
The luxury child friendly cottages at North Farm comprise a range of barn conversions, cottages and flats to suit all requirements and group sizes. There are fourteen properties in all, ranging from several smaller cottages or flats sleeping four people in two bedrooms, medium size properties sleeping 5-8, and a large barn conversion – Granary Stone House – sleeping up to twelve people in six bedrooms. In total, the cottages offer self-catering accommodation for up to 63 people, making this a superb complex for those looking to organise a big family gathering over multiple holiday properties.
The cottages at North Farm are individually styled but all benefit from large living areas, spacious bedrooms and top quality furnishings. Four bed Grey Croft, for example, offers two comfortable bedrooms, a large open plan living area with woodburner, a well-equipped kitchen, and a front patio with garden furniture. Impressive Granary Stone House is tailor made for large families or groups of friends with a spacious sitting area, large kitchen diner, and private snooker table.
For an idea of prices, at the time of writing, you can book a summer holiday stay for four people at North Farm Cottages from around £1390/week in one of the smaller cottages or apartments. A group of six staying in three bedroom Stable D’or can expect to pay £1985; eight people from £2250; or, for the largest groups, a peak time stay in 12 bed Granary Stone House costs from £4420/week.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
North Farm Cottages are a great place to occupy children of all ages. There are well-maintained paths through the neighbouring fields leading right to the beach (approx. 20 minutes), making sunny days out building sandcastles and splashing in the waves an easy trip out.
The indoor heated swimming pool is a highlight; recently built and with superb views over the surrounding countryside, it provides perfect entertainment for guests young and old, regardless of whether the sun is shining or rain pouring.
The cottages also benefit from access to a shared children’s play area with climbing frame and slide.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Baby and toddler equipment including cots and high chairs is available for those with younger tots, saving space in the car and reducing the time spent packing.
Cosy open woodburning fires are available in many of the properties, guaranteeing a relaxing warm evening in front of the fire once the kids are in bed. Some properties (e.g. four person Bank Top Cottage) also have access to private hot tubs providing the perfect spot for evening relaxation.
There’s a shop and pub approximately one mile away for picking up essential food items or perhaps a family evening out for dinner.
WiFi is provided, and pets are permitted in some cottages.
