Pagel is set in the beautiful Lot department of the south of France. The region’s heritage, castles and medieval villages are all within easy driving distance by car. Visit the beautiful city of Cahors, the unique cliffside Rocamadour, scenic Milandes Castle or the impressive Padirac Chasm.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
Accommodation at Pagel takes the form of six different child friendly gites and two lodges, sleeping variously from four to six people. The properties have all been child-proofed for safety, while retaining the original character and attractiveness of the buildings.
Prices start from 119 euros/night for a gite, with a week-long stay for a family of four in the summer holidays costing approximately 1890 euros.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
There’s a wealth of safe, outdoor space for children to play in and enjoy – over a hectare plus a wood. And there are plenty of activities for children to entertain themselves spread across the site’s various play zones: a trampoline, slides, space rocket, swings, castle, sand pits, pétanque and ping pong.
A highlight of course will be Pagel’s heated outdoor swimming pool – the perfect place to splash and unwind.
There are toys galore provided in each cottage including Lego, Playmobil, dolls, colouring, stuffed animals, play kitchen and more – everything you’ll need to make youngsters happy.
Little ones will enjoy meeting Pagel’s resident farm animals including goats and rabbits.

Dinner times are a breeze with home-cooked meals available three times a week plus a weekly family barbecue – helpfully serving the children first so parents can enjoy an aperitif! You can also look forward to authentic French breakfasts with fresh bread and pastries delivered daily to order.
If you’re looking to explore some of the area’s many fantastic local restaurants then the owners can organise trusted babysitters – a superb feature not often available elsewhere.
How handy is the honesty bar at the swimming pool with ice creams, sodas, beers, bottles of wine, pizzas cooked over a wood fire, fried sausages and more? There’s also a freezer with easy family friendly meals like chips, fish fingers and lasagne.
Children’s clubs are another popular feature with Parent Friendly Stays visitors, and Pagel doesn’t disappoint; in the summer school holidays there’s a children’s club running three mornings a week full of fun and creative activities including arts and crafts, group gapes, treasure hunts, snacks and more.
All the accommodation at Pagel comes equipped with the necessary baby and toddler equipment including baby baths, monitors, booster seats, changing mats, high chairs and so on. You’ll also find handy books and toys galore for younger visitors to enjoy.
