Tucked just behind the sand dunes of Par Beach east of St Austell, Par Sands offers beautiful unspoilt Cornish beaches on your doorstep. Family friendly days out within easy reach include Blue Reef Aquarium, Bude Sea Pool, Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Tamar Lakes, the Big Sheep and the Eden Project. Popular Cornish seaside villages including Seaton, Looe, Polperro, Fowey and Mevagissey are all just a short drive away.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
Par Sands offers an extensive range of family friendly holiday homes and lodges. These include ‘super lodges’ – the highest standard luxury properties including a hot tub – through to the more basic ‘classic’ range. The variety of holiday homes on offer means there’s something to suit all requirements and budgets, though all feature double glazing, central heating and flat screen TVs as standard. Other lodges have large wraparound decked areas with wonderful views, and many boast top range amenities like quality sound systems, dishwashers and coffee machines.
For an idea of prices, a week-long stay for a family of four in a two-bedroom ‘classic’ costs around £760, while a luxury ‘platinum’ lodge including deck (and pet friendly!) costs £1260. Short breaks are also available throughout the year.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
In addition to the beautiful beach on your doorstep for idyllic family days out at the seaside, Par Sands boasts a luxury leisure complex featuring a gorgeous child friendly indoor heated swimming pool, perfect for those not yet old enough to brave the waves or those looking for a swim regardless of the British weather! There’s also a children’s adventure play park, a separate all-weather sports court, tennis courts and a beautiful wildlife lake to explore. Other local activities (not on the holiday park itself) include cycle hire and water sports.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Par Sands has an attractive beachside bistro, the Par Beach café, offering snacks, main means, desserts and a kids’ menu – ideal for those days when mum and dad don’t fancy cooking. The park is also within walking distance of all the local facilities you’ll need including shops, post office and pub (the Par Inn). Par Sands prides itself on being pet friendly, and there are several dog friendly beaches nearby so your furry friends can enjoy their summer holiday too! As mentioned above, some of the lodges at Par Sands come with their very own private hot tub, perfect for a warm daytime dip with the kids or a (probably more relaxing) evening soak with a glass of wine!

We love the holiday lodges at Par Sands: cosy, modern, well-equipped and with all the family friendly activities you’ll need. Most days you’ll doubtless be heading to the beautiful Cornish beach on your doorstep, but there’s plenty more to do within easy reach for those rainier days! Even better, it’s a great pet friendly location too with dog friendly lodges and plenty of nearby dog walking routes.
